BTW SMOOTHIE LOVERS.....

Pea protein powders can be very drying for VATA constitutions and so I encourage my clients to SUBSTITUTE this FOR HEMP which is far more nutritional and has the proper balance of fatty acids.

Hemp milk

Hemp seeds can be blended with water to make a healthy milk substitute, although the flavour of hemp milk is less sweet than almond milk or cow’s milk.

Take half a cup of shelled hemp seeds and 2 cups of water, blend for about 3-5 minutes and then strain through a nut-milk bag or cheesecloth. It’s that easy!
